From the Court to Sports Science

My journey did not start in a laboratory. It started on the basketball court.

For more than 10 years, I have worked with players and teams, helping young athletes develop their skills, confidence, and understanding of the game. Like many coaches, I believed that hard work was the answer to almost everything.

Over time, however, I started asking deeper questions.

Why do some players perform brilliantly in practice but struggle under pressure? Why do some athletes improve rapidly while others plateau despite working just as hard? Why do decision-making, confidence, and movement quality often matter as much as physical talent?

Those questions led me to complete my Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Sports Science and explore the fields of performance psychology, motor learning, biomechanics, and athletic development.

Today, my coaching philosophy combines practical basketball experience with scientific understanding. I believe performance is not built through harder training alone, but through smarter training, better decision-making, and a deeper understanding of how athletes learn and perform.

Whether I am working with a young player, a competitive athlete, or a basketball team, my goal remains the same:

To help athletes reach their potential while building sustainable habits for long-term success.
